Random Favourites

So, MangaStudioEX4 decided to completely and randomly destroy 24 pages of my file for Paladins Chapter One. As in, the pages were still there, but the actual layers I created were GONE. VANISHED. NON-EXISTANT. NO MORE.

Luckily, this program (apparently) seems to create “temp” page files whenever I save (which I do compulsively) so I managed to manually restore ALL of the file, so it only became a large pain in my rear rather then the end of my world.

Afterwards I saved, and saved not one, but TWO extra copies of the restored file. I also tried to create a PDF of the file, but that didn’t seem to work.

Now I shall scan/defrag the computer, go eat lunch/watch TV as my blood pressure settles back to normal, then come back and continue my work. ^__^

My advice to anyone caught in a similar situation: Lots and lots of deep, free breaths. Stay in control. Stay cool. Do not lose it.

Trust me. I’m really glad I was able to stay composed. May not have discovered/improvised a solution otherwise.

Stay cool, my friends.

I know I haven't updated in a while, and I owe a...three month update to you guys. It's coming.

In the meantime, hop over to my Tumblr which has been WAY more active lately: arkhivez.tumblr.com/

PS: Who wants to give me free tips on how to customize your Tumblr?? Like, REALLY customize it? Anyone?? No?

My name is Rory.

I don't want to get off on the wrong foot here...do I look at the patch, or the eye?

Other than what you see here, my interests include all things music (listening, performing, writing, recording, etc.), as well as just writing.

I started reading Spider-Man from a young age. I blame him, Dragonball Z, and various good comics/mangas for what you see here (including the Ultimate Spider-Man series...not the current one...the one where Peter Parker is, you know, ALIVE).

And it goes without saying, but Jesus Christ is my everything. All I do, I try to do for God's Glory. Yep, I'm one of those people.

Enjoy the art! =]

I’ve been working like a man on fire to get all these commissions up and done. I’m glad you got a kick out of one of them. ^^

Hey man, thanks for visiting my page. I'm working like a man on fire too, to keep up with the "Newbie Artist Training Grounds", haha; But it is artistically whipping me into shape, on the pony front and in general, I guess they call it that for a reason. Keep making awesome pictures.

Thank YOU! I tried to find that "It's only slightly busted quote" but couldn't find it, where is it from?

Heehee! That's a Liz-Neko original actually. If I remember correctly, it was said in regard to the dishwasher at my old campus job that had a history of breaking down and flooding the back room. I think any of the employees there would have cheerfully put a stick of dynamite in that heap...

Nice, I usually think of the Joker when a crowbar is mentioned, that's pretty funny though.
